Highlights

DSAC EPG
We developed three consecutive Transformation in Sport reports for the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture’s (DSAC) Eminent Persons Group. These national reports, tabled by the Minister of Sport, assess the performance of South Africa’s sports federations against transformation targets. Our role included data capturing, analysis, and report writing — measuring race and gender transformation across teams, development pathways, leadership, and officiating. The reports provide critical insights that shape national policy and drive accountability in the sports sector.
DSD
We were appointed by the Department of Social Development (DSD) to develop a national strategy for children with disabilities. Over two consecutive years, we conducted thorough research, analysis, and content development, producing a comprehensive document to support inclusive policy and service planning. Our work included writing and editing the final strategy, grounded in evidence and aligned with the department’s developmental goals. The strategy supports inclusive planning and policy implementation for one of the country’s most vulnerable populations.
JCPZ
We conducted an in-depth city-wide survey for Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) to explore awareness and adoption of alternative burial methods. The study, which combined qualitative and quantitative methods, assessed community knowledge, cultural perceptions, and communication preferences around options such as second interment and cremation. Our findings informed policy and communication strategies for more sustainable, culturally sensitive cemetery planning. The research played a key role in supporting JCPZ’s long-term environmental planning and public engagement.
BANKSETA
We provided end-to-end production of the BANKSETA Annual Report, a national-level project that included research, editing, staff interviews, professional photography, graphic design, and bulk printing. The project involved work across multiple provinces, allowing us to authentically reflect the organisation’s people and impact. The publication highlighted key achievements in youth development, gender equity, and race transformation in the banking sector — positioning BANKSETA’s progress in an accessible, visually compelling, and audit-compliant format.
Gauteng Tourism Authority
We conducted an in-depth market study for the Gauteng Tourism Authority to understand the travel behaviours, perceptions, and brand awareness of African tourists visiting Gauteng from five key markets: Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, and Nigeria. Using qualitative research including focus groups and in-depth interviews, the study identified opportunities to enhance Gauteng’s positioning as a premier African destination. Our findings informed strategic recommendations for the GTA’s marketing efforts, service delivery, and long-term tourism development, ultimately helping to shape policy and attract meaningful economic activity to the province.
KZNGFA
We were appointed to edit, proofread, and format internal policies for the KwaZulu-Natal Growth Fund Agency (KZNGFA). This extremely detailed project involved refining grammar, tone, structure, layout, and consistency across all documents. Our work ensured that policies adhered to professional standards, with clear, accessible language tailored to internal stakeholders. The final outputs enhanced the agency’s internal governance documentation and reflected its commitment to operational excellence.
